You’ll love this collection of my best gluten-free recipes to bake. Cookies, donuts, muffins, pie and more. Family-approved and so tasty!
Our weekend started out with beautiful spring weather that eventually turned to snow. So, instead of finishing off the yard work that I had originally planned, I decided to bake a few gluten-free treats instead. I do love baking!
Since I started eating gluten-free two years ago, I’ve tried many, many recipes. Without getting into too many details, let’s just say that some have turned out deliciously, while others have been complete fails (unless you’re my husband who will pretty much eat anything). Rock hard, doughy cinnamon buns come to mind…
Most times, it takes a few tries to get a gluten-free recipe just right. It’s often a case of trial and error. So, to save you time and effort, I thought I’d share some of my favourite recipes that I bake over and over again without fail. I hope they become some of your go-to’s as well. Enjoy!

Best Gluten-Free Baking Recipes
Greek Almond Cookies
This delicious cookie recipe is similar to buttery traditional shortbread with the added factor of an almondy-crunch. I love the crispness of the outside combined with the softer middle. Totally divine!
Cherry Rhubarb Crisp
You’ll definitely want to dig into this delicious cherry rhubarb crisp. Made with a layer of tangy and sweet summer fruit, then smothered in a crunchy oat topping. Served with ice cream, this gluten-free dessert is a real treat!
Blueberry Lemon Donuts
You really can’t go wrong with this classic combination of plump and juicy blueberries and tangy citrus. If you’ve baked blueberry lemon loaf or muffins in the past, these donuts are a no-brainer. So tasty with coffee or tea!
Plum Frangipane Desserts in Ramekins
This frangipane dessert with tangy plums, sweet almond filling and crunchy topping is quick and easy to make. Once baked, you’re left with syrupy and tangy fruit covered in rich batter that puffs up somewhere between custard and cake. Let’s not forget to mention those crunchy almonds. Yum yum!
Mini Pavlova with Fresh Fruit
This pavlova recipe is one of my favourites to make in the summer with its light and airy meringue surrounded by a crisp crust. Of course, the mountain of whipped cream and fresh seasonal fruit make it even more delicious. Perfect for entertaining!
Ginger Apple Crumble Pie
Having a hard time finding a good gluten-free pie recipe? This ginger apple crumble pie with cookie crust, tart apples, oat topping and salted caramel drizzle is delicious! You can use the crust for other types of pie too.
