Mini Wreath Gift Tags & More Christmas Wrapping Ideas
These mini wreath gift tags are an easy and inexpensive way to embellish your gifts this Christmas season. Read on to discover more unique and personalized gift wrapping ideas!
Have you thought about wrapping Christmas gifts yet? I know it’s only the end of November and most of you have barely begun your shopping, but I really want you to consider moving it up on your holiday to-do List.

Thank you to Tiny Prints for supplying Christmas wrapping paper to share in this post.
Why? There are a few reasons, starting with how beautiful your tree will look with pretty packages below. We spend so much time picking out just the right ornaments and garland and lights. Then, we leave wrapping presents to the last week when the paper is picked over and we don’t have time to add ribbon or pretty embellishments. I know this from past experience!
Trust me, your loved ones will also appreciate the tiny details you add to their gifts. The trick is to start planning now.
Today, I’ve teamed up with some of my creative blogging friends to share all kinds of wrapping ideas.
Personalized Wreath Gift Tags
To embellish gifts this year, I decided to make some mini wreath gift tags. I already had most of the supplies on hand, except for some ribbon I picked up 70% off. Oh how I love a good deal! And the best part is, I found the wooden beads at a thrift shop back in September for next to nothing too. See, projects like this can be done inexpensively.
Supplies and Tools
For supplies, you will need:
- wire (I used 26 gauge)
- wooden beads
- card stock or photo paper
- ribbon
- greenery (fresh or faux)
You will also need needle nose pliers, scissors, a printer and a glue gun.

Mini Wreath Instructions
To make the wooden bead wreaths: (I followed the same steps as my jingle bell ornaments.)
- Simply cut a length of wire and create a loop on one end by twisting (with pliers).
- String on 12 beads (depending on how big you want your wreath) and secure by threading the other end of the wire through and wrapping around a few times. Trim off the excess if necessary.
For the personalized tags:
- Print names on photo paper (you can use card stock if you prefer) and cut them out with a notch on both ends.
- Attach to the wreath with a dab of hot glue on either side.
- Tie on a little ribbon, glue on some greenery and you’re ready to decorate gifts!

Personalized Wrapping Paper
Isn’t that Joyful Jargon wrapping paper fun? I love how I was able to create personalized Christmas wrapping paper with our family name amongst the other words.

And take a look at that Merry Woodland wrapping paper I’m using for those gifts ‘just from me’. So sweet!
Of course, you can create your own Christmas gift wrap too.

Be sure to pin these personalized gift-wrapping ideas for later.
