A delicious collection of fresh lemon recipes for the lemon fanatic. Cheesecake, cookies, drinks and more!
Hello, all! Are you ready for summer to be over? It’s been a hot, dry and smoky one here with forest fires burning in neighbouring British Columbia. I feel so terrible for everyone who’s been affected. Hopefully it clears up soon!
Starting in September, I’ll be back to my regular posting schedule sharing all kinds of fall related posts, including decorating ideas, DIY home decor projects, room tours, recipes and more. I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. Are you?
The other day I picked up a big bag of lemons for a quick dessert (so delicious by the way and will post the recipe soon). I seem to be craving the bright, sunshiny colour with such hazy skies for weeks on end. With so many lemons left over, I was thinking about other recipes to make. Who knew I had shared so many lemon recipes on the blog over the years?! So, if you’re a lemon lover like I am and have a bunch to use up, here they are in one easy to access place. Enjoy!
What to Make with Lemons
No Bake Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake Jars
This tangy and smooth lemon cheesecake layer is the perfect complement to the ginger crust and fresh strawberries. I love making them ahead of time and popping them in the fridge. Whip up a batch for your next family get-together or dinner party. Yum!

Homemade Lemon Curd
Lemon curd is traditionally served with tea, where it’s spread on scones, crumpets, biscuits or other baked goods. Besides that, it’s scrumptious over pancakes, as a quick dessert idea with strawberries and whipped cream (maybe some angel food- see below) or as a filling for basic tarts with a little fresh fruit. I also like it with plain Greek yogurt. Easy to make and delicious!

Spinach Basil Pesto with Garlic Scapes
Who knew this savoury dip/spread/dressing had so much lemon in it? We enjoy it slathered on bread or crackers, as pizza sauce, or simply tossed with al dente pasta. It’s also delicious spooned over fresh tomatoes, grilled vegetables, chicken or soup. Time to make some more!
