Designer Challenge: Which Bench? {Part Two}

Welcome to Part Two of the Designer Bench Challenge! I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Nancy of Marcus Design. Find out what she did! (You can catch up on Part One here.)

Hello lovely Satori readers! First and foremost I must thank Shauna for including me in this wonderful and fun post. I had a great time putting my bit together :) I must say that it was hard to choose only one bench, but in the end the Hollywood glam-lover in me chose the zebra print Oly Studio Hillary Bench from Layla Grayce.

I have been in love with the designs of the talented Jennifer Ferreira, and this bench reminded me of two of her fabulous vignettes as seen here and here.

Here is the sweet little bench in what I would envision for a glam and feminine entry way, inspired by Jennifer Ferreira’s designs. I love the Ralph Lauren lamp paired with a white Parson’s style console {in this case the budget-friendly desk from West Elm with drawers for extra storage!}. I’d create interest with a wall of art in vintage gold frames, perhaps with a mirror or a touch of DIY abstract art like I’ve created here. A place to put your keys when rushing in the door – the pretty Ikat vase from Nate Berkus, and another spot perhaps for letter storage – the pink book boxes from Wisteria. A dash of Chanel {the 3 book set} always adds glamour, and of course I’d place fresh flowers to enjoy as often as possible {in this case, in the inexpensive Ikea Rektangel vase}. Now I want to re-design my whole entry way!

Thanks, Nancy. Somehow I knew you would put a Hollywood glam spin on it! Let us know if you makeover your front entrance- we’d love to see it. Although yours is already beautiful!

What do you think? Which bench would you choose and what would you do with it?

Look for more Designer Challenges coming in the near future!

Take care,
