Although it’s still fall, last week had a certain chill in the air that felt more like winter and I really wasn’t ready for it! The colours of the landscape are beautiful this time of year, but I find myself wanting to stay inside sipping pumpkin spice lattes beside the fireplace cozied up with a good book- you? Shorter days and colder weather may be downsides to the season, but I always look forward to decorating this time of year.
Adding layers, textures and new colours to your home for fall really isn’t all that difficult. To make it easy for you, I’m over at Living Savvy today sharing some of my favourite home decor picks for this season. You’ll be spending a lot more time indoors, after all, so you may as well make your home beautiful, cozy, and comfortable.
Say “hi” to Tiffany while you’re there (she’ll appreciate it) and be sure to check out some of her amazing projects!

I thought I was ready for fall, but when it actually got cool this week I wasn’t so sure about it! I think I’ll be spending more time in this year by the fire, too. Those poufs are so cute and perfect for kids who want to gather around the fire.

Is it wrong that I’m already thinking about our winter vacation? Thank goodness for hot drinks and fireplaces!

Great tips! This is how I approached my Fall decor this year. I love the subtle effect.

I looked around my home on the weekend and all I saw was our little Thanksgiving centerpiece… and lots of potential waiting to happen, but not an ounze of pizzazz! Seriously, where has October gone? It feels like it was just August. At this rate I’ll be decorating for Christmas, and probably just barely. Hhhhh. Time to turn that thought around! Popping over to catch you at Living Savvy! :-)
