Get inspired by some of these favorite Annie Sloan chalk paint colors and furniture makeovers.
How has your week been? Although the Christmas and New Year’s rush are over, I seem to have just as much on my plate right now. How does that happen? It probably has something to do with not being very good at saying “no,” but I really don’t want to turn down interesting projects and events. As well, I’ve made a promise to myself to finally tackle those decorating and organizing items in my own house that I’ve had in the back of my mind for a long time. Somehow they always got pushed to the bottom of the to-to list, but no more!
Thank goodness I love what I do. It’s just a matter of scheduling everything and everyone in and reminding myself that it doesn’t have to be perfect! I am so lucky to have very understanding and supportive friends, clients, colleagues and family members!
This week I hosted a very exciting giveaway by Lauren Lane Decor. When Tara told me she’d like to offer a free spot in one of her upcoming paint classes, I jumped at the chance knowing it was something you’d all be up for. Sorry to all the people who wanted to enter, but live too far away! If you missed the Q & A with Tara, you can catch up here.
Thank you so much to Tara and everyone who took the time to leave a comment and share the feature and giveaway on Facebook and Twitter. It was great to get so many new visitors to the blog this week!
And now for the fun part! Congratulations to Lynette Hayes who said:
She has won a paint refinishing class- how fun!
Here were some of the popular Annie Sloan paint color choices in the comments:
Duck Egg Blue
Provence
Paris Grey
Emile
Country Grey
I think it’s hard to go wrong with any of them! Remember that all Annie Sloan paint colors and other supplies are available through Lauren Lane Decor. Tara will ship anywhere in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba if you can’t make it into her studio.
Enjoy your day!
