Spring is my favourite time to freshen things up around the house. Pretty blooms, colourful textiles and other decorative accessories are quick and easy ways to breathe new life into a space after a long drawn out winter. Why can’t winter be shorter?
Last week, I shared some easy ways to freshen your kitchen for spring. Today, I thought I’d show you some of my favourite bright and cheery napkin picks to liven up your spring table. They’re definitely instant colour gratification without costing a bunch. I love 10-minute (or less) decorating projects! You too?

As you can see, bold patterned fabrics in bright colours are trending for spring. Napkins are definitely an easy way to liven up any dining room or kitchen
For a cheerful spring vibe, I added blue and white striped napkins to my afternoon tea party table setting. I love how they look alongside the blue floral porcelain tea cups.
Whether you’re hosting a spring party, Mother’s Day tea, or simply want to brighten up your space for the season, napkins are a pretty and functional choice.

DIY Spring Napkins
If you like to sew, napkins are a great project for the beginner. You can also make no-sew fringe napkins, which take very little time.
I plan on pulling out my sewing machine later this week to make some spring napkins using vintage floral fabric I’ve had in my stash for a while now. Chances are, you’ll see them in an upcoming post.
