Hey There! My name is Tiffany and my blog is called Living Savvy. I am an interior designer who loves to share DIY projects and client projects!
Organizing Tips on Living Savvy
Hey everyone! Today I’m soaking up the sun with my family (Hallelujah!), but I wanted to pop in to let you know my friend Tiffany is hosting Organizing Month once again. As you may recall, I participated in last year’s and I’m back again to share some of my best ideas and tips for organized living. This time I’m focusing on how to stay organized after you’ve gone through all the effort to get there.
While you’re at Living Savvy, also be sure to check out Tiffany’s tutorials including paint, sewing, and craft projects. She’s definitely a talented gal!
5 Favorites of Fall {Guest Post}
Winter has basically hit us this week, but it hasn’t stopped me from thinking about my favorite aspects of fall. My friend Tiffany over at Living Savvy is hosting a “5 Favorites of Fall” series and I’m excited to be sharing my autumn best-loved list with her readers today. If you’d like to know a little bit more about me, head over and check it out.
What’s Up in the Blogosphere?
As you would probably guess, one of my favorite things to do is read blogs. It’s really what inspired me to create my own. You may remember one the first posts I wrote just over a year ago, where I explain my thought process for starting a blog. Looking back, I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner.
As mentioned in that post, one of the blogs I was really drawn to (and continue to be to this day) was Nesting Place. Nester has a way of digging a little deeper to find meaning within our homes, rather than just focusing on the physical aspects. For the month of October, she is hosting her 31 Days Series, which has grown to be very popular (you’ll know why if you follow along).
Perhaps next year I will join along and commit to 31 days of blogging about a topic, but for now, I’ll become inspired by some of the other participants. I will say, though, I’ve pledged to myself to focus on “31 Days of Finishing Up Half-done Projects.” Anyone on board?
Join Our Upcoming Outdoor Link Parties
Hello all! I’m so glad that warm weather is finally upon us and I’m thrilled to be spending more and more time outside. To celebrate outdoor living, my friends Amanda, Tiffany, Jean and I are all planning a round of outdoor link parties.
Although it’s my first time hosting, I’ve taken part in many link parties since I started my blog. I’ve stumbled across amazing blogs and projects as a source of inspiration. As a bonus, many people have found their way to Satori and I’ve made many new blogger friends.
We encourage you to join the party too! Be sure to mark your calendars- dates and themes are below. Remember it’s outdoor projects, so start working on them now. We’re talking gardening, outdoor lounge areas, lanterns, fences and more. I have a few fun DIY and decorating ideas to share as well and I can’t wait!
See you there!

Favorite Home Organizing Tips {A Curbly Feature}
How is your day going? I’m knee deep in boxes and covered in drywall dust, primer and paint. I’m working on getting my office put back together after a week of interruptions. It turns out that I needed to add a little more support to the existing shelving in the closet and my simple paint freshening has become a bigger project than first anticipated! I’m taking a quick break to let you know that this week, along with some of my favorite bloggers, I’m being featured on Curbly.
For the month of March, my lovely friend Tiffany from Living Savvy rounded up a few of us ‘organizing types’ to share some of our best tips for keeping our homes in order. Earlier this week, she was asked to pick some of her most-liked to share on the Curbly DIY design community. Fortunately, my tips made her list! You can check out the feature here.
Organizing my home has made the day to day tasks so much easier. The effort required to set up any organizing system, big or small, has always paid back huge dividends.
