Holiday Countdown Planner {Finale}

Countdown to Christmas: What to do in the final days before the big day to get ready! We’re at the end of our 8 week holiday countdown series!

Here we are (finally!) after eight weeks of following the countdown to Christmas! Did you stay on track?

As mentioned before, I like to think of it as shooting for the moon so I can at least reach the stars. Some things didn’t get done around here, but I’m not sweating it. With my son being away at college and my husband traveling all around the world for work (yes, he has an amazing job), I decided to nix a few tasks. Life just gets busy, and sometimes sitting down and watching a Christmas movie is needed a whole lot more than baking another batch of cookies, wouldn’t you say?

With that being said, I hope you are feeling prepared enough for the big day. I have a few gifts to wrap and some cookies to make for the ice cream sandwiches we enjoy for dessert on Christmas day. Otherwise, it’s cleaning a little here and there and enjoying everyone being under one roof- can’t wait!

Holiday Countdown Series Recap:

You probably thought we were done last week, but there are a few more things to take care. I didn’t create a printable for this week, but you can read the post Holiday Countdown Series {Finale} to get your homework (remember it’s a post from last year, but the ideas are the same). I promise it’s easy!

What have you been up to the past 8 weeks?

Check out the Holiday Countdown Link Party I’m co-hosting with Aimee of It’s Overflowing to see what everyone has been doing to get ready for Christmas! You can share your projects, too, if you haven’t done so already. I’ll be featuring my favourites too.

I’d like to send a big shout out to everyone who has followed this countdown to Christmas. I’m so blessed to have such a supportive community of readers! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing it, and it has kept me on track (for the most part!). Please let me know if you have any ideas for making it better for next year.
