Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday my son and I got our fill of turkey, dressing and pumpkin cheesecake at my friend Sandi’s house. She is one of the best cooks I know, and I was definitely thrilled when she extended an invitation to share a Thanksgiving meal at her home. Unfortunately, my husband was traveling for business, but knowing I have the love and support of others is very comforting and definitely something to be thankful for.

Sandi’s country home was built a little over a year ago. It’s one of my favorite places to be. I love the character and charm they were able to create even though it’s a brand new build.

As we finished our dessert, this is the view we had looking through the dining room windows- picture perfect!

Autumn Sunset in the Country

Fall seems to be when we have the most gorgeous sunsets around here. This one was definitely worth snapping a picture of. Agree?

Fall Leaves

Today it’s a bit rainy, changing my original plans of picking up leaves and doing the final yard preparations for winter. Instead, I’ll possibly go for a pumpkin spice latte with my son and check out a few new books.

However we end up spending the day, I’ll definitely be taking the time to reflect on everything I’m grateful for in my life, including you. I appreciate the friendship and support I receive from my readers everyday, and even if you’re not from Canada, I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving day!
