Fall is the season of big change. I don’t know about where you live, but this week I’ve noticed the leaves turning color quickly and the temperature dropping significantly. I’m afraid there’s no turning back!
After reading Kimberly’s guest post this week and in the spirit of the season, I was inspired to try my hand at something I’ve never done before. You know- shake things up a bit and see what comes of it!
Here’s what I’ve decided to commit to over the next couple months:
- Sewing a slipcover
- Hanging wallpaper (I’ve done this before as the assistant, but I’ve never taken the lead)
- Hosting a wine-tasting party

I plan on blogging about each experience so that you may share in my triumphs and learn from my failures (perhaps I should be thinking a little more positively). More importantly, I’m hoping that I’ll have some intangible moments to share- you know those ah-ha moments (or oh-no moments) that allow us to stretch, grow and reach a new level in our lives.
I’d love for you to join me. Let me know what you commit to trying over next 2 months and report back what happens.

Today I’m linking up to:

I love these ideas! I have been wanting to host a wine tasting party for EVER {though every dinner party I have is a quasi tasting party!!} Love your blog and can’t wait to read more!

Thanks Tiffany. I think it’s always good to try something new. Could be a disaster, but we’ll see. Let me know how your wine tasting party goes.
P.S. Love your blog as well!
